UNSTUFFED PEPPERS RECIPE

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 bell peppers (any color: orange, red, yellow, green) chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup rice or 12 oz. bag of frozen cauliflower rice
- 2 cups of tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (and more if desired)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the peppers and onions and cook until soft. (about 7-9 minutes)
- Put peppers and onions in a separate bowl and set to the side.
- Stir in the beef and cook until browned.
- Add Worcestershire, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder and stir to combine.
- Stir in rice (if using frozen cauliflower cook until tender).
- Spoon peppers and onions back into the skillet.
- Pour in tomato sauce and stir well.
- Sprinkle in cheese and mix thoroughly.
- Serve and sprinkle on more cheese, if desired.
