HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN THIGHS

INGREDIENTS

  • 3-4 pounds of chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • ½ cup regular or low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400˚F.
  2. In a shallow dish combine the flour, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine.
  3. Coat each chicken thigh in the flour mixture.
  4. Transfer coated chicken to a 9×13 baking dish in one single layer.
  5. In a small mixing bowl whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, parsley, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and parsley.
  6. Pour honey garlic sauce over the chicken thighs and make sure they are all coated evenly. Flip them over to coat both sides.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165˚F).
  8. Remove from oven and serve.
