TEXAS-STYLE CROCKPOT
PULLED PORK RECIPE
Texas-style pulled pork is a delicious barbecue dish known for its sweet and tangy flavor and tender texture.

COOK TIME: times vary depending on crockpot setting: 5-6 hours if cooking on high; 10-12 hours if cooking on low

INGREDIENTS
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 (4 pound) pork shoulder or pork butt
- 1 cup barbeque sauce
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 extra large onion, chopped
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pour olive oil into the bottom of the crockpot.
- Place pork roast into the crockpot; pour in all ingredients: barbeque sauce, vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, onion, garlic, and thyme.
- Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or high for 5 -6 hours until pork shreds easily with a fork.
- Shred the meat using two forks. Stir to combine with juices.
